Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 25, 2026

The short version: Midterms 2026 has no accounts and we do not run servers that store your data. Your game stays on your iPhone. The app shows ads from Google AdMob and sells subscriptions and items through Apple, with RevenueCat to manage them. These companies get some device and usage data, as this policy explains. If you buy Campaign Pro or Remove Ads, the app shows no ads.

1. Who we are

Midterms 2026 (the "app") is made by Mert Yerekapan ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the data the app processes. Contact: mert@leagueoffitness.com.

2. Data that stays on your device

The app saves these on your iPhone only. We cannot see them.

When you delete the app, iOS deletes this data. Saved games are not backed up by us.

Party and leader names you type stay in the game. Please do not type real personal information into them.

3. Data that third parties collect

Google AdMob (advertising)

If you do not have Campaign Pro or Remove Ads, the app shows banner ads, full-screen ads and optional reward ads from Google AdMob. To show, measure and protect ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK can collect:

DataExamplesPurpose
Device identifiers The Advertising Identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking. Otherwise an identifier that is limited to our apps. Ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention
Coarse location An approximate location from your IP address Ads that fit your region, legal compliance
Ad and usage data Ads shown, taps, ad views, app launches Ad delivery, measurement, analytics
Diagnostics Crash data, performance data, device model, iOS version Fixing and improving the ads SDK

Google processes this data under its own terms. Read how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

We limit ad content to a maximum rating of "PG".

RevenueCat and Apple (purchases)

Apple processes all payments. We never see your name, Apple ID, address or card details. We use RevenueCat to check which subscriptions and items you own. RevenueCat receives:

We use this only to give you what you bought and to restore your purchases. Read RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Tracking and your ad choices

5. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

6. Selling and sharing

We do not sell your personal data for money. Some US state laws (for example, in California) call the use of device identifiers for personalized ads "sharing" or "targeted advertising". To opt out, choose "Ask App Not to Track", turn off tracking in iPhone Settings, or buy Remove Ads or Campaign Pro.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you think a child under 13 has given personal data through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.

8. How long data is kept

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. We do not keep personal data on our own servers, so most requests go to Google, RevenueCat or Apple. Contact us and we will help you. To delete everything on your device, delete the app. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. International transfers

Google, RevenueCat and Apple can process data in the United States and other countries. They use legal tools, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect it.

11. Security

The app sends data to these services only over encrypted connections. No system is 100% secure, but we keep the data we handle to a minimum.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If the change is important, we will also tell you in the app or in the App Store release notes.
